A network cabling system could be a combination of copper or fiber-optic cablings. The network cabling system has backbone and horizontal service cabling that runs from a central location such as a server room, possibly through telecom closets and then to the individual desktops or devices. A network cabling technician should follow the industry standards for grounding and bonding, general install, labelling and verification.
